Geneve ~ Jewellery Inspiration Sketch Book

I made everything by hand. I had a bit of trouble along the way to figure out how to do things. This is the first book I've ever made.

My friend likes to make her own jewellery and has started to learn how to make her own charms. I thought, as she adores Lord of the Rings, elves, hobbits, Harry Potter and all things fantasy she would enjoy a book with images from the series. I also wanted this to be a piratical book she could use so I included a few extra pages and designed it with two sketchbooks in the back of it in mind.

I took photos on each step it took me to make the book:

I took me about 3 days to find images, arrange them all for printing. Then about two days to cut them out, organise them and to start sticking them to the pages.
I made holes in all of the pages, sewed them together.
After that point it took me four days to put the rest of the book together. ~ from cutting, to covering, to assembling, to painting.
And my friend enjoyed receiving this book for her birthday!
